Birthday Cakes: Different Shapes - November 2008

Hi friends, last few days had been quite busy at work and i was not able to post the few birthday cakes that i had made. It was interesting as i made few flowers and then laid them on cakes of different profiles. Last two cakes were done over a night, as they were to be taken to Gaborone.
Some of my blogger friends as Steph, Kitchen Flavours and Indranee have shared their awards with me, for which i feel humbled again. Thank you ! I will proudly display your gesture.

Soni, I think it's amazing that even with work, you find time to decorate such amazing cakes! Do you know how long it takes me to just frost a cake.. I'm not going to say.. it's really embarassing!

I think I'm running out of words to describe your lovely cakes. :)

The mermaid cake reminds me of a drawing my daughter had done a few years ago called "Under the sea". :)

Soni- thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate your kind words.
I also have to say that I love the mermaid cake- it looks a lot like one my mother made for me as a child (although yours looks really professional- I think one of Barbie's legs was sticking out on my cake.) Anyway- they all look great.

One comment: Recently read from another blogger that someone had stolen her pics and posted as their own without the blogger's consent.....It maybe best to watermark your beautiful creations and keep them safe...They are gorgeous.
